About me
I’m Annie Roman, a passionate writer, educator, and designer dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children, especially those with autism.
My journey spans across continents, from the vibrant streets of Brazil to the picturesque landscapes of Germany, and now to the sunny state of Florida, where I live with my supportive husband and beloved daughter.
My professional path is rich and diverse. I have worked as a teacher in my home country, Brazil, and as a paraprofessional in disability clinics in Germany.
I also volunteered at a Waldorf school, immersing myself in its creative and holistic educational methodology. In the USA, I earned a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in autism clinics, gaining invaluable experience in supporting children with autism.
Drawing from my background and my personal journey as a mother of an autistic child, I have dedicated myself to creating educational books designed to help children with autism succeed. I believe in the power of homeschooling and am passionate about drawing, painting, designing, and developing educational resources that are both engaging and effective.
Living in Florida with my family, I continue to write, draw, and design with the goal of enriching the educational experiences of children around the world. My work is a testament to my dedication, creativity, and the profound impact of a mother’s love.
Join me on this incredible journey of creativity, education, and advocacy. Discover a world where learning is an adventure, creativity knows no bounds, and every child’s potential is unlocked.
